Summery
The Technical Engineer is responsible for a variety of design/drafting activities including preparing and updating build notes using Dozuki and other software. The role will work closely with design and operational departments to ensure standard operating procedures are reviewed and updated accordingly.
The role shall carry out the maintenance and updates of software and hardware in accordance with company requirement.
The Technical Engineer will train within the technical department ensuring the company’s COP, Type Approvals and QMS processes are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Create build notes in Dozuki
- Amend & update notes in Dozuki
- Liaise with departments on build notes
- Translate into easy-to-read standard operating procedures
- Ensure maintenance of software
- Maintain revision control
- Recognise and communicate improvements through continuous monitoring
- Ensure a culture of prevention of defects is in place
- Modify technical documents and report changes
- Work in accordance with approved codes of practice
- Work in accordance with company health & safety rules and regulations.

Skills & Attributes
- Knowledge and understanding of the build of welfare vehicle conversions
- Knowledge and experience of technical requirements related to build procedures
